TeamBynes | The Perfect Candidate [Transcription]

Greetings,

It's the season again! What season is it, you ask? In our office, around this time of the year, we are extremely busy. And it's this time we look for transcribers to jump in to help with the work load. We have an ad out right now for assistance. One thing we notice about applicants is that most of them are over qualified. These applicants carry large titles like VP, Office Manager, Therapist, Producer, Librarian and the like. And most of these are seeking full-time employment. As much as we like to hire everyone, we've come to the realization that the above mentioned are over qualified for our field of work.

I've put together this short list of some qualifiers that may help land you a job as a transcriber.

  1. You'd like to transcribe part-time. Many transcription companies are seeking people who are seeking to earn 'extra' income, not necessarily be the only income. In fact, if you're already working, chances are you'd be hired.
  2.  You own and operate a transcription company. If you're applying to help another transcription company, you're likely to get the job if you have run a transcription company yourself.
  3. Looking to learn about the industry. Companies like Bynes Transcript and Typing Services are always looking to mentor anyone interested in learning more about this field of work. Transcription companies, and not necessarily individuals seek freelancers who are willing to learn from the bottom up.
So you see from the information I just provided, positions like VP, Office Manager and the like can potentially hurt your chances of becoming a freelance transcriber simply because you are over qualified. Unless you open up your own firm, gather and maintain clients, you most likely won't earn the income you're seeking.

For more information, shoot us an email at teammembers@bynestranscriptions.com

To be qualified to work for TeamBynes
  1. Must be willing to work on an as needed or contract basis
  2. Have at least 1 year transcription experience
  3. Must be willing to take a 1-3 min typing/audio test
  4. Must have resume and references
COMING SOON!

We are at the end of our free report to be distributed.
We are working on the extended version of this 'free' report.
We are considering starting a 'Newbie Transcriber' training camp.

2016 Company Objectives for Team Bynes [Bynes Transcript and Typing Services]

2016 Company Objectives for TeamBynes

Fellow Freelancers!

We are happy to see another year. 2015 was extremely busy, so we accomplished a lot. 2016 shows a lot of promise. Like last year, we have a lot of projects including updating our business forms and company policies in our Administration Department that we will soon share with you. It is recommended that you subscribe to this blog to receive any and all of our updates.

If you're serious about working as a transcriber and you're considered to be a newbie, it's highly recommended that you subscribe to this blog and practice, practice, practice. Clients want excellence because they're paying to receive excellence. Period. TeamBynes has been working with a lot of contractors so we know what's being considered 'transcription' so we can see that there is room for improvement.

Note: Transcription work starts from the moment you solicit your services and ends with you submitting your work, so in between there, you need to be concerned about your sales pitch, your policies, your work ethics, your documents and your prices.

If you're interested in receiving a free report, click here to pre-order.

You will receive a basic overview of information needed to be a successful transcriber. We are working on creating a product to include exclusive and extensive information to becoming number one in this industry. [see Note above for the information to be covered in the free report]

This year is going to be a success. We hope that your career as a freelancer or a small transcription business is fruitful.

Here are some objectives we wish to achieve.
  • Prescreening for transcribers - we are used to working with newbies, allowing new freelancers to 'get their feet wet' so to speak. This year will be catering to more experienced transcribers; freelancers that understand the value of using correct grammar, punctuation, formatting styles as well as the importance of honoring deadlines.
  • Testing - transcription and basic aptitude testing will be required upon hiring. [grab flyer]
  • Front office team - while we work with one or two clerical specialists at at time, we will create a front office team where all of our administrative departments are covered.
  • Back office team - a back office support staff will be put together to help with some of our back office tasks
  • Company policies [All departments]  - All of our policies and agreements will be updated upon distribution for each new client.
  • Social Media Marketing projects - we'll be revamping our social media marketing strategy to focus on certain time tables to match our target market.
  • Customer support help desk - our support system will be revamped by adding updated client inquiries.
We're open to hearing from our audience. If you have any input such as comments, ideas, or ways to help empower freelance transcribers, shoot us an email or submit a comment in this blog post. Email: fbynes@bynestranscriptions.com
